Sometime in anger u speak without thinking. Afterwords u regret for speaking that thing but then the time has gone. I have often regretted my speech, never my silence. so what i think that whenever i am in anger i avoid to speak and keep silence so that nothing wrong comes from my within. What are your thoughts on this?

Sometimes it is better to keep silent in order not to argue and when you feel the heat discussion is going to make you mad. But, silence is not good if other people make a direct insult to you and you know for yourself that your opinion is correct. Then you have to make a stand and prove yourself that what you mean are the truth. Your opponent may understand you and will no longer insinuate rumors which will downgrade your reputation. Also, by keeping silence, is admittance of being guilty in other cultures if you break a law. Silence is better if you want peace with your enemies is is not a sign of cowardice but a sign of more educated man who do not need to prove his self by long talk. As actions speak louder than words.

a great concept of everyday life sometimes the best response is none at all . my belief is that just try to keep it as brief as possible.silence is always better than unmeaningful words.do not say little in many words but great deal in a few.i think silence is better tool than speaking without thinking.

Thats why there is a saying 'silence is gold'. It is true if you have nothing to say or you are in a bad fit then its best to remain quiet and allow yourself to calm down and relax. Don't ever think to yourself if you don't talk you are not a good person, in actual fact talking of what is beneficial to those around you would be better than talking nonsense and just for the sake of time-pass.
