Is it really good for us to drink a cup of water?

i heard it is good for us to drink a cup of water.but for myself ,i find it is hard for me to drink it ,because i am not thirsty when i woke up and it is not effective as i expect.can you tell me is it good for us and if we do not do it will it bad for our health?

Yep, certainly drinking water is good for your health. Its 8 cups per day that I've heard is ideal
About drinking water in excess, different researches give different conclusions
Some say that it will make the purification easier and there by reducing the load on kidneys.
Some other researchers say that it will make the kidneys do more work (due to increase in quantity)
anyway adequate amount of water always helps in keeping your blood without any toxic content

ya it is good to drink water. average human being needs atlest 8 cups of water a day. but i have heard that drinking excess water ca harm your kidneys. i heard this when i atended a medical semiar. Drinking a cup of water early morning is defnintly good for your health. drinking a glass of water just befiore your lunch reduces you weiaght..

Water is such a life giving source. You should drink 8-8 oz glasses of water a day. I sued to have a problem drinking water as well. Try squeezing a little lemon juice into it. That's what did it for me. I'm so used to drinking water now that it is the only thing that will quench my thirst. Good luck to you.

From what I understand, it isn't "bad" for you if you don't drink a cup of water when you get up in the mornings. But they say that if you can drink a cup of water in the mornings it kind of wakes your system up. If you can put some lemon in it t helps purge out junk that's been sitting all night in your system. It also gets your sugar and metabolism up faster.

baoxinw, it's good to have a cup of water after you have brush your teeth, and done the washing up. This will help you flush out the necessary "retain" in your body overnight. You will need at least 8 cups of water for a day, and I am having at least 3littre of it. A cup of water is a must for me when I get up. Happy MyLotting :)
