if you plan to open up a business, make sure that its something you really have an interest, something you like and something that you have knowledge... don't go into business that you don't know...coz for sure i think that will not succeed... choose a good location for your business...and study the market before doing so. i wish you luck and success for your soon to be business!

hmmm, i've always been thinking about having a business before. my problem was always the capital and a product that will actually sell. well, if i were to have a business it has to be something that man uses everyday. i've always wanted to go into the food industry. i think that it will be profitable because everybody eats!

I am thinking of that too, tom. The problem is where will I put it? Cebu is very small and I don't want to start in a place where my eatery would not be recognized...

If i would start my own business, I would start a food business. Food is a basic necessity. With the right location, huge target market and of course, clean and good food, a food business wil definitely grow. I am saving money to be able to start out my own food business.

Dear cmnavarro, If I was given the opportunity, I will like to invest in service industry. Giving consultancy services or management services... I do not need a warhouse to keep stock nor do I need to tied down my csh flow! Service industry to me is good as now people prefer quality services! All the best and do keep in touch! Tks

I have always liked the idea of being a librarian. So, perhaps I will open a bookstore. Not a big one. Just a cozy one, with a corner for free coffee. Members should be given a discount card. And maybe a referral system too. I like being surrounded by books, and just taking it easy at work. Of course it does not support me financially to depend on this. In my country, a photostat business is good. So, maybe I will open one of that.

Well I advice you to start blogging. It takes 10$ to get a domain and 30$ to get a hosting space. Start a wordpress blog and if you go on working with you blog, you would earn descent money after 1 year.

hi cm. in my opinion, this is not a good time to start a new business, since everybody is in crisis. i've been thinking of the same thing, but what made me forget about starting a business these days, aside from i have no enough funds, the global recession will practically affect any business.

hi, I dont if your country have this. Its called mutual fund that run by my local bank. Its like this... First, you need to invest with a minimum amount of RM1000. Your investment will be put into a fund and for every 3 month, you can take withdraw the dividend from your fund which is roughly about 10%. My friend uses his pension money to invest RM40000, and few days ago he drew out RM4000+. I am sure this investment,in the long term, will make you and your loved ones secured financially. But as I said, dont know if your country have such funds. Good luck with your investment.

if you are going to start a business,it has to be something that you'll love doing.if you don't love it,the business will not last because you'll get bored.also, think of your location and market.like me,if I were to start a business on a small scale,a computer shop will do.there are lots of gamers in our village.I would also like to start an online shop for clothes, lingerie and accessories.

Starting a business is not easy..You have to think which things interests you a lot...If you are planning to put a computer shop and yet you are not interested with computers, its gonna be hard for you to manage it..Also, capital is another factor...If you have the means of investing a big amount of money, then go.But if you don't have enough means, start with small one...By the way Do you know DXN International..Its a multi level marketing business. very low capital and very easy to handle...If you want i can be your sponsor...
