Facebook in the workplace?

I love facebook. in fact, when i am at home, i am always online. when i get to the office, i am also always online. i like knowing what my friends are doing and i like sharing my thoughts with them. Facebook has also helped me in terms of information. like when michael jackson died, i learned about it in facebook. The applications are also entertaining. However, our office recently blocked the site, claiming that the internet connection is slow because a lot of people in the office are facebooking. i know this is a lame excuse. i just think it is unfair that they blocked the site. I got around the block anyway. I still access facebook using a mirror site. Do you guys and gals think its ok to facebook even while at work?
