Is exercise the best way to keep urself healthy

They say u should have 1 hour of exercise in a day to keep u fit enough.Is it true.....I am having such a tight schedule that I am not able to achieve this.What can be other methods.Help me out.

I agree with you.I like to exercise but only 20 minutes.I believe it enough to me good healthy.

I do agree that exercise the best way to keep healthy. The issue is how to persist in exercising, esp. for people at work. I remember after travelling one month, I was so good in status, that walking a couple of hours became no problem. People in hilly areas are much healthier for their daily compulsary walking.

Half an hour is enough to stay fit. If you are too busy you could do it early in the morning or you do it after work at your office. You don't need to spend an hour for a work out.

Hi Rav! An hour per day of exercise is beneficial. However, you can make huge strides toward fitness by simply adding more activity to your day. For instance, add steps. Park further away from stores. Get up every now and then if you work at a desk or sitting... just walk around for a little bit. Walk for 5 or 10 minutes during your lunc break if at all possible. You don't have to do the hour all at one time. Break it up into 3 twenty minute "workouts" or 6 ten minute ones. Just move more, that is the key!!

a balance meal and exercise is the most important thing for your health watch what you eat. eat proper, and exercise.

do 15 min of push ups, pull ups and situps along with 10 min of jogging or running with a good diet schedule.eat more fruits and juices and have meals at proper times ...its enough to keep u fit and make u look gud physically

Hi ravirai, Nice name, btw do you related to Aishwarya Rai? :) Exercise is definitely one of the best way to stay healthy and fit. Try to allocate some time to exercise, but if you really can't, then do the alternative, you can walk from your car park to your office (park further a bit), climb the staircase instead of take a lift (eg. if your office is at 8th floor, go up by lift to 6th floors, the climb the stair to 10th floor or climb first, then take lift, the choice is yours!), do some housework like mopping with the music won, do it like dancing style, be creative!
