It is said that the eyes are the mirror of your soul and I truly believe that. By looking into a person's eyes you should be able to tell what kind of person they are.
I always look into people's eyes when I meet then, when I talk to them or when they are talking to me. I love to have eye to eye contact. I also think it is a way to show respect by looking at the person in the eye.
However, I do find it hard to see through the very blue eyes, they almost make me feel as if I am looking back at myself. Not too sure why though. I like the warmer look of hazel or brown. Maybe this is because I have hazel eyes which change colors with my moods, from green with a peck of blue to green with a little brown to green with a lot of brown. At least this is what my husband sees. His eyes are mostly light brown, except when really happy he has a circle of blue around them.
I find it a little hard to believe or to trust a person that can not look you in the eye. Many times a nervous person will start to look you in the eye but will constantly look away.
Do you think that the eyes are a mirror to the soul?
Do you look people in the eyes?
Many people feel uncomfortable looking into the eyes, do you?

I think the eyes can speak and tell a lot more then words.. It can actually express the truth behide the speech or the thoughts.. i like to look into the eyes of the other person while speaking or i cannot speak.. if i notice that the person cannot look in to the eyes then he is then he is telling a lie.. i get confidence in a person only when the other person makes eye contact and speaks .

Hey Midgefaria, Yes, I agree with you. If they can not look at you in the eye then most times they are not telling the truth. If they look away and then downward, I think that they are just shy or do not have the self confidence to look you in the eye. I feel for those people and many times it is not their fault. It is the way they were raised, maybe yelled at a lot. No self esteem.
Thanks for your response and have a great day.
