Which common perception irritates you?

Sometimes, people perceptions of things seem to irritate me. I can't for the life of me figure out why they would think something so irrational. Maybe that is just my opinion, so I am writing this discussion to see if it is just me. I pride myself in welcoming others opinions, and I like reading what other people think. But everynow and then, I will read a discussion or a blog (and please, not just on myLot), and I think to myself...how did they come up with this??!! So, what is your most irritating or misunderstood perception of something?
