South America is right at the top of my travel wish list my dear friend. Most of all I would love to go to Machu Picchu in Peru. I can fascinated by history and like to see beautiful mountains. I really would like to visit Cartagena de Indies in Colombia. It would be excellent if I could look around its historical streets. I would also be keen to go for a cruise around the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. It would be lovely if I could see the lakes of Chile. There is so much I would enjoy seeing in amazing South America. Happy traveling. Hug.

I don't think it would necessarily matter, as to what specific location in South America. I think, i would be more interested in meeting people, and looking around, where ever i went to. Of course, that is just me, i am more into seeing and trying to help out here and there. I do love to take pictures too though.

You would have to choose a destiny though as South America is a big continent and you would have to take the right plane

Ok, since i don't know much about South America, then i would choose an area, that is poor, and needing more. I know that does not sound realistic to most people, but if i were to go on a trip, then i would rather be there for a purpose.

Brazil to cruse up the Amazon, Argentina - Just for Rio de Janero, and Patagonia one of the few places in the world that is still unspoiled by mass tourism. Peru - the high Andes and to see the ruins of the Inca cities..Just a few ideas.

Sounds like a lovely trip. My own dream is to go to Machu Picchu and Cusco before I die.

I would want to see the Amazon Rain Forest. There is so much life there, and there are even undiscovered people living there the way they did 1000 years ago. I hate how some people want to tear it down! So much of it is already lost!

Be prepared, friend! It can be dangerous. But it would probably be worth it. I am also shocked and sad at how people destroy the planet.
You can get a glimpse of the beginning of the forest if you go to see the Iguazu Falls, the biggest of the world. It´s awesome!

I would love to visit Chile and Peru. The landscape and mountains just look so beautiful in these countries. I also have an interest in the wildlife in these countries so these would be my first choices of destination in South America.
I would also love to visit Machu Picchu. The Rainforest would be my next place to visit. I think the wealth of wildlife in South America is just amazing and I wouldn't mind visiting every country there.

There´s a lot to visit in South America. We have all kinds of climates and, fortunatly, some wildlife left after the human pedrators have been close to them. You would have to spend at least a year to visit a bit of everything

Yes, with all the different places I am sure I could easily spend a year in South America and still have not seen everything it has to offer. I'll suppose I will have to postpone my visit until I have the free time But I will hopefully get to visit this continent at some time in my life.

It would be an exciting preposition. I would like to go to Argentina to see places like Horse ranches, the cowboys and Buenos Aires. I would like to
go to Brazil to see the Amazons. Peru would be next in line for its historical structures and its mountains.

You have named many beautiful places to go. I have been to Buenos Aires and it is an awesome city, very european like.
The closest I have been to the south american jungle was when I went to see the Iguazu Falls. They are the biggest of the world. As for Peru, I would very much like to go to Machi Picchu.

Hi marguicha, this may sound like a really strange choice but i would actually like to see what French Guiana is really like. I have read nothing about it lately at all but am so curious as to what it is really like. The book Papillon made it sound like the most univiting place ever and I'd like to take a look for myself and a trip out to Devil's island too.

I had forgotten the book and the movie, but now that you mentioned, it all came back. I would like to see that too. But probably all that is already changed from the time the prisoners were there.
