BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS

have you ever had to have a blood transfusion before? If so how much. I had to have one when I was 16 I lost 3 1/2 pints. I remember it like it was yesterdday

I had to have one when I was 12 yrs old (6 pints in all) I had a hip surgery. I was on so many pain meds I don't remember.
I had to have another when I gave birth to my daughter. I started to hymerage really bad and had 2 pints from my family because my husband didn't want me to have anyone elses blood. I got 1 pint from him and 1 from my dad. I don't remember much of that either because I had to have surgery right away.

I had blood transfusion. It is to save the life of others. there is no harm in donating blood.

oh i agree if it wasnt from someone donating i wouldnt have had any to save my life, but actually i believe i had my dads blood but i know what you were saying thanks for responding
