Good for him, to make a statement. I think that it is crazy that he is just hearing of this after a year! Why would this woman wait a year to make these charges? And then to not even go the route of calling the cops, but instead hire a lawyer and file a civil suit? I don't know about anyone else, but if someone had raped me, and I was brave enough to come forward, then I would want them in jail...even if he loses the civil suit...he only has to pay money, its not like he will go to jail! And apparently she is also suing people at the hotel? Does anyone know why she would do that?

From my point of view she is absolutely lying to just get some money there are a lot of red flags. The time line of it is shady, after a superbowl winning season she files a civil suit a year after the incident. In rape charges, usually a criminal charges come before the civil suit. What I find really shady is that she decided to file the civil suit. In civil trials you dont need as much evidence as criminal trials, all you need is a good story to create second guessing. She is lying for some cash.

I agree. I would think that there should have been a criminal charge first, but maybe there wasn't any evidence...big shocker there. I feel for him and his family, and I thought that it was odd that in the video I watched, the 'expert' said that if the hotel settled with her, the whole case could go away before it ever reaches trial. So is she suing the hotel for someone assaulting her, as well as the alleged assaulter...doesn't make any sense.

I hope not, he doesn't deserve this. On a side note, I was just looking at a post someone else had done on this topic that I responded too, and I was the only one other than the originial author who knew who Big Ben was...they all were asking about the clock, and how it could have assaulted someone...lol!

I think big Ben did the right thing! I believe he did not do anything to that woman! If I was raped I would go to the police and report it! Why this woman didn't and a year later she is sueing him with a civil suit? It doesn't make any sense! I think this woman just wants money from Big Ben! I would like to know if she even did meet Big Ben last year in Vegas? Maybe she is doing this just because she can! She probaly randomly chose Big Ben out of the blue becuase he is famous! What ever the reason,it truly smells fishy!
