Woo HOO!! I think he's got it!! (Potty Training)

This past Sunday, for some reason, for whatever reason - who really cares WHAT reason, right??? -- my son finally 'GOT' it! He woke up Sunday and decided he was going to be a big boy and he got it! About 12 noon, after being dry all morning, I took him out of pull-ups, put his brand new big boy Thomas underwear on him and he GOT IT!!!!! He's running into the BR to go "potty like a big boy so you won't be upset, mommy" and he's staying dry!
He's going on his own, telling us to "pause the tv, don't miss any" and he's even telling me when we go out! He hasn't worn a pull up (during the day) all week! I'm so freaking proud of him, I can't stop bragging about it! (I think I need to get out more! LOL)
Anyway, I just wanted to share, all my friend here, who gave advise and encouragement: THANK YOU!!!

wow, I know it is a 4 wk old discussion but that is great congrats potting training is such a task and it is great when it is accomplished, how old is your son? I started trying to show my daughter the concept but yet she is yet to not be completely trusted on her own yet..

That's awsome! Congrats on things going so well. I have trained my 2 girls and now I'm working on my son, he's a bit young (21mo) but he likes to sit on the lil potty while I'm in there going myself and that's a good start!
I hope your DS keeps it up for ya! They do regress from time to time especially if they get a new sibling or are sick.

Hi Bunny - oh yeah, we've had a few accidents, but those, strangley enough, are easier for me to handle than him just not doing it! Today, no accidents yet! And I'm preparing for regression, see my other discussion about surgery...
Thanks so much for your response and support! I swear, he's gonna be 4 in less than a month and I was really sweating it, I didn't think he was ever gonna get it!
