When you are buying something do you just buy because you want the thing? Or you are the kind that always after of a few cents and even notes to save? Many of us would rather go for a price with discounts. But there are few who don't mind how much they will spend because they want the thing.

Needs is different from wants. When we say need it is our basic needs. Wants, these are things that are not really useful but we buy them because we want them. It is not easy to earn money, so in my part I would rather buy things that are really needed so that my money can not be wasted. We must be wise in spending money. But if you are the kind of person who has a lot of money you can buy anything you want because you want it. In my part,If I have a lot of money I would rather give them to needy people than to waste it with things that are not really needed.

Exactly you said it. I never mind spending to acquire my basic needs. But if it is for luxury, I wont be spending since i am always a calculative kind of person and never let a single Cent go loose. In my opinion, if we start spending on un necessary things, then a day may arise where we would be in a position to sell even our necessities because of our over spending nature and i do not want that to to befall me. The main reason for the current economic recession is our over spending nature and it must not be allowed to get repeated. Spend wisely and save money for an optimum level. CHeers.:-)

It always feels good to buy something, but in the long run it is not a good idea. So, I guess it is a wise move to save money because you do not really know what is going to happen to you in the future. At least, you have something you can use in times of emergency.

Yes, that's better. Emergency would not tell you ahead of time. So better if you are ready all the time. Save money to save life, and needy.

i usually buy what i need, when i need it.. meaning if i dont need it urgently, i wont mind putting in off to later, or better yet - when i can discounts for them. no matter if i have so much money.. i always remind myself to buy things that i really need - and try to teach my children the same thing, too.. that way we learn to appreciate the value of money, too..

Yeah! It's better to make a segregation on needs an and want. Those that are not really necessary you can buy it next.

I think I am the kind of person who only buy basic needs, because I am poor really right now. I can't waste a cent of my money, I really need money. I will buy things and don't care how much it costs when I am rich, haha!

I"m going for a save, because I kind spend a lot person. Sometimes when I bought something and then I saw the same thing with a cheaper price I will regret it. I like to save because the extra money can be used for other item later on.

Yes you are right! In lower price versus high price. The product with lower price usually you could make it in two every a piece of product with higher price. It's up to you what to choose.

Well, I buy the stuff I need first such as food and clothes. If I have extra money, I would either save it or buy something that I really want. I think rich people don't mind how much they spend because they have a lot of money whereas poor people do mind because they don't have a lot money and they need to save to support themselves and their family, such as paying the bills, buying food and clothes, paying for transportation.

But there are also some girl even not rich they could waste money. Because of mismanagement of groceries and foods in everyday. Left over foods are still important if a person would not want to waste money up to a certain degree.

hi zearah. nice question. i would say that there has been a time in my life when i spend all of my earnings. my reason was to treat myself for working hard and it is my money anyway. but i realized that mistake quickly and changed my ways. so yeah, i save a portion of my money and spend the rest. i pay myself first. and i look for bargain shops to buy my money's worth. with the economy nowadays, we need to be practical with our money. happy mylotting!

It depends on what I am buying, if there is not way I can save money, I will not do it. I try to shop at places where I can save money, or things I save for things I want to buy.

i always have this motto in mind, "live by your means." so i only buy things that are of importance or that i need. although when i buy things the quality of the product weights more than the price. and we all know that most of the quality products are mostly those with a higher price tag. so although i'm not an impulsive buyer, i do try to save up for something that i'm planning to buy. so i guess i could say that i've rather save than spend.

I normally would buy things that I really want but sometimes I also would wait for the year end sale for gifts to be given on Christmas to save because we usually give out lots of gifts to family members and friends and the amount sometimes is really costly if we buy the items on regular prices.

I have spending almost everytime i get the money or the payout from mylot. I swear to mylife that i will save money and promise that i will saved until i get into full 250 dollars, because that's how i will get my account to have interest.

I prefer to have a balance between the two. YOu have to save for your future life. If you have got surplus money, then don't bother about saving. Like the present scenario, when therez incidents like the global economic melt down, the amount that we saved matters a lot.

I do both. If I like it, I buy it.But if the price is not reasonable I'd go for the discounted ones or generic products.
