I hate English and History. I hate English because its boring. My English teacher teaches me things I already learned in elementary. How boring is that? They also teach very slow and teach things you'll never even use in your whole life time. While History is an easy subject and important in school I still hate it. Recalling this old events makes me sleep( I did slept on one of my History class). My classmates also sleeps. They even use their Nintendo DS, PSP, and cellphone without our teacher knowing. I got all A's this whole year in History.

The subject I HATE the most is Physics. I got an all time low in that class. I don't know if it's me or because of my teacher. He always goes full speed ahead without going through the lessons with us. To be honest about 2 - 3 people actually do understand what their doing in class while the rest of us are like WHAT?
But then again I guess I'm not really a science kind of person and I had no clue how to explain theories or any of that other stuff, and I had to learn it the hard way :|

My least favorite subject changed from year to year. One year it was math, another year it was science. There was one year I royally hated Geomotry. I could not get the hang of it. Then, when I was on college, I hated Calculus. There were just some maths I could not get the hang of.

English because I could never remember all the gramitacal rules ya know like noun, pro noun, verb, adjative ect.
Then there was math. It depended on the teacher if I had a good teacher I like it. If I had a lousy one then my marks were poor. And when they were poor my Senior yr of HS I asked for help in the class and went to the lab and got 10x more confused as the teachers in the lab explaned things so differently than what my reg teacher did. *sigh* My only F ever

This is a very interesting discussion that I feel the need to comment on real strong. You say that you hate English because it is boring. What you are writing now is English and yes it is something that you will use in your future life. I write articles on another site and I need to know how to word things the correct way or I don't get paid that well for it. As far as History goes when you get older and sitting around with your friends and they say something that pretains to the past History wouldn't you want to know what they are talking about so that you can join the conversation too? You need to really pay attention it will help you in long run. I promise. I know from experience.

Math and Science. Especially now that I"m in college. In high school, honestly all classes are pretty much the same because teachers feed you information and they give you busy work. All you're doing in regurgitating information back to them. Now in college you have to like apply, and the classes are so huge that you have to really make an effort if you want to learn, etc. and the learning experience just isn't all that motivating. And since I suck at Math and Science anyways, well =___= that just makes me hate it even more lol. I'm more into the artsy subjects, and creative writing, etc. so math and science are just pure torture for me. :(

I used to really enjoy doing English and history lessons when I was at school. So I am not sure how good we would get on
I really used to hate having to do home economics. This was cooking, sewing and stuff like health and safety in the kitchen. I really found this to be a boring subject that I know I would not need to take any interest in. It was not like we was learning to cook everyday meals, which actually would have been quite educational. It was random stuff like cooking burgers, flapjacks and making coleslaw. It did not help that the teachers in these lessons were really very grumpy, they made the chance of the lessons being any fun diminish very quickly. I must say that I never went to sleep in these classes, I just did not do much work

To be sure, maths was the all time pet peeve of mine. It still is, now that I am guiding my son in his studies. I could never really imagine situations a certain problem demanded and no matter how much it was explained, it all went over my head.

Hi Defcon, I dislike any subjects that require lots of memorizing to do, such as Biology, Geography and History. For these subjects, I had to read lots of pages and commit them to memory - it was really torture for me. I didn't mind reading up for interest and information, but having to cram my brain with stuff that I might never use in my lifetime, was really tedious!

Maths.
Well, not everything, just integration.
I just don't get the use of integration and double integration and stuff.
Fortunately, I no longer have to study maths since this year.

I loved literature when I was in school but Physics was something which never entered my head, no matter how hard I tried. maths was ok with me but I wasn't exceptional in math, sometimes I used to get struck in some very simple and wasy equations. i simply used to go blank.

Hello defcon505 this is checkmail and when i was in school my favorite subjects were Science, Algebra(Maths), History and Geography, else than that seemed to me boring in nature.Well acording to me all of my favorite subjects were of great importance to me, as there was plenty of knowledge and scope to study it more, as much as you like it was not limited.

during my shool days, i hated history and chemistry. I hated those dammn chemical equations and balancing and those reactions and all. But some topics were interesting and the thing i hated the most was organig chemistry. Thank god, now we don't have chemitry. In engineering, we had chemistry in the firs tyear and again i found it ver boring and now the subjects are pretty interesting. CSo chemistry has always been a nightmare for me!

I always dislike Literature.
Although I always get an A on it, I could never like it at all.
I can not find interest in reading and writing.
That is the reason why Math is always my favorite subject.
