Do plants with much sap affect you?

I removed my plants with sap, except for the papaya the fruit of which I always use for chicken stew. Anyways, according to gardening experts, the sap bearing plants cause the family to cry. Ouch! I am not a superstitious person but I'd been hospitalized twice in the past two years. So I replanted some fortune greens to bring more luck. Hayyy!!!
