Some people really go to restaurant at the odd hours. Especially Asian, or people work at night shift. Me and my friends once visit to a Korean Restaurant at the odd hours. It was around 1:00 A.M. in the morning. Some Asian restaurant still open until 3:30 A.M. in the morning. The food was tasted good, and not many people visiting at this hour. So, it was quite nice, just our table and another table only. Would you visit a restaurant at the odd hours?

Before when I was still working for an American company before, we tried to go to restaurants in odd hours.
Since the time clock is different, start of my schedule mostly around 11 and the worst is 3 in the morning.
That time it was like 2 or 3 in the morning.
It was Japanese restaurant and they're open so we sneak out and look if they can still serve us foods.
Me and my colleague asked the manager [who's the owner] if they can still cook for us.
I think they'll already closing the restaurant.
The Japanese owner is really kind and accommodate us.
He's hospitable and we actually talk a lot while waiting for the food.
It is quite good experience.
Since we're the only person there, I felt like I'm the owner of the sushi house.
I love the ambiance of a Japanese restaurant so I totally enjoyed eating there.
Right now, I never tried to do that againbut I will surely try. ^0^

Yeah, I'd still go to the restaurants at odd hours. I remember there was once, my course mates and I just finished doing our project, and we felt so hungry, and we wanted to go out and look for food. That was 5 AM in the morning. I thought we would not be able to get any food out there, surprisingly there are some restaurants start the business early, for breakfast.
I'm staying in Malaysia, where there are many restaurants open until early midnight, perhaps 2-3 o'clock in the morning too. So, it's not too difficult to go out and look for food.

Well for me it does not make any sense. Restaurant at 1.00 AM I will never try that. In fact I would be in a great sleep at that point.

I am more prone to visit resturaunts at odd hours, or even what would be considered the "off nights" as i like being able to enjoy my meal with out tons of distraction from all the other patrons of the establishment. I often feel i recieve better service if i go to a resturaunt during the "off" hours as well, since the waitstaff are not in such a hectic, busy environment.
The only resturaunts i choose to only vivist during prime eating hours are buffets. If you go during the slower hours, the food is not as fresh and there isn't as much variety, as the businesses don't want to put out tons of food, only to have to throw it out because there are no customers.

My husband and I love to do this. There is a 24 hour restaurant in my area that serves home cooked meals and we love it. It is never busy really late at night, so it is very quiet.
We also like to shop late at night at 24 hour establishments because it is easy to get around and the lines aren't so long...unless it's a holiday.

I think the oddest I've ever been to a restaurant was around 6 in the morning, but that was more breakfast, so I guess it wasn't odd. Usually I'm not out at that hour. Now, when I'm closing at work, I'm there until 1-2 in the morning, depending on how long it takes us to get cleaned up.
I've seen plenty of people coming in around those hours. Mostly it can be drunks see there are like 3-4 bars around our store.

I will visit a restaurant at whatever time as long as I am hungry. I have been to Denny's at all times of the night when we used to alway stay up late. It is not very good for you to eat so late but really as long as I am hungry I dont care what time it is.

Hi clorissa123,
I always went there during that time. There is a lot of restaurant open 24 hours here especially in big city. Sometimes I go there only to take my nescafe tarik and meet my friends.
When the English Premier League start on this 15th of August, restaurant especially Mamak restaurant are very busy during the match. Live telecast usually started at 8pm and some of the games played at 2 am. We love to go there to watch because the environment is always lively. What ever team you support, you always want to watch it live and know other result.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

I love going to restaurants at odd hours! There won't be any servings made to any table other than ours! It gives us privacy and even a feeling that we own the restaurant!
Hope this response gets rated positive! Happy mylotting!

I wonder if you mention restaurants or bars...because seldom any restaurant is still open after the midnight in Europe. Maybe the situation is different in USA?

I seldom go to the restaurants at odd hours. As the time you mentioned are too late. Usually we all go to bed at that time. But very occasionally my husband and I will feel hungry at late hours. And we may go out to have the night snacks. We enjoy eating. And therefore here usually the restaurants open until very late hours.
I love China

I don't really like to go out at night so I don't visit restaurant at such hours unless something come up and I need to go. We don't really go to eat outside so I hardly visit a restaurant even during normal hours.
There are 24 hours restaurant here. I don't really like the food though, not my type of favourite. But a lot of people will be there. The restaurant provide big screen to watch football or wrestling. So a lot of people will gather for that reason alone.

I never think of going to restaurant to eat at odd hours. Maybe it is a good try. Not crowded, less people, more relax, I like it. And you don't need to wait for the food for too long. And the waiter is stand by waiting for your order and request! Thank you for sharing .

Hello clorissa123 this is checkmail and do not intend specifically to visit restaurants at their odd hours. But sometimes while travelling or working for some celebration, do have to visit the restaurants at odd hours. If there is late because of traffic while travelling long distance then, have to eat in restaurants at odd hours.Even when we are preparing for some celebrations, we work on it till midnight and have to go to restaurants after that.Normally do not have a good experience while visiting restaurants at odd hour so would prefer to visit restaurants at their working hours.

Well, I would not mind going to a restaurant if there is someone else with me and moreover it is absolutely necessary,if I am dying out of hunger or so. But, I doubt if they will be serving fresh foods at such an odd times or may be the left outs reheated again.
