i thing the both reason is responceble for the failure of the indian team in ICC T20 world cup 2009...and the unfittness of the players is responceble for that....

According to my view is over confidence only leads to loss in t20 match . The indian cricket board also not giving chance to good players . In t20 match some players are playing like test match . These are all some reasons for the loss in t20 match

The failure of Indian team is not due to a single reason. There are many factors that had affected the performance of Indian team. First thing is the IPL 2009. The long tenure of IPL has made the players tired and also it is responsible to the absence of key players due to injury. Second reason Indian team has failed to foresee the conditions of the English pitches. They should have selected the players based on the performance of players on the bouncy track and not based on the performance of IPL. Third fatal reason is the absence of Sehwag in the opening slot has been the bigger blow. Yusuf Pathan could have been handy for that slot. But however we need another finisher if he opens up. I don`t feel there was drift in the team. Its all this media to create such an illusion.

i think its over confidence of our players...

acc to me the reason was somewhere lack of cooperation between the team members and internal triffles between them

squad was not good!!
