Have you already violated myLot guidelines?

Unfortunately I already did. And it cause a deduction to my earnings. Several of my discussions have been removed. It's really not a comfortable feeling, losing more than 3 dollars, discussions and decrease in rating or posts. I understand, it happend because I violated the guidelines. I started topics about earnings. I already had a lot of responses in those discussions and already commented on them before they deleted it. That's why I lost a lot. For those who responded to those discussions, especially to my regular responders, I'm very sorry that you also been affected. So let us learn from my mistake, we should read and know the guidelines and always remember it. Actually, I'm now losing my interest in myLot, I was really been affected by what I have lost. So good luck to all of you. Enjoy your stay here. Take care.

Yes Mark I have, many moons ago After that I dedcided to read and understand them better and what I have understood I try passing on to others, as you well know. Sadly there are so many users who either think that the admins do not delete or that they will not get caught or maybe they have just not understood. When you post a discussion which is a violation it does not get deleted immediately usually then sadly, if you have more that are similar, they all go as I presume happened to you - but I did advice you not to post them
I can understand too that you are disappointed right now but heck - that's not going to help get your earnings back! This week I have lost over 50 posts due to the deletions that have taken place but that just spurs me on to be active and get them back. You have learnt now what to do to earn well here and you have almost reached another milestone so pick up the pieces and carry on but this time be careful not to post discussions which will go.
You know I am here to help and you know where to find me too but please do not give up Mark

That reminds me of a song, but we can change it slightly -
Lotters in Arms!
It would appear that things are getting cleaned up and moving in the right direction again. This is such a good sign and we must stick it out and wait to see whether ALL the things that need correcting will be dealt with. It will then be better for all of us. They might be 'pains' along the way but it is for the benfit of ALL of us if myLot gets on the right track again.
Count me in Sandra and maybe it will no longer be a dream!

There are many of us willing to help new users
Mark was one of them and I was saddened when reading this particular post because I know it was only a small blunder on his part that caused him topost this.
He is now back in full swing
I am convinced jheLaichie that it takes teamwork to keep the Lot happy and that is why we are all willing to help when another Lotter is disappointed about something. In this instance it was me who lent a shoulder to our friend

Actually, you don't need to read much of the guidelines to know this point, as it appears very early in the list. It seems as if Mylot admin are toughening up on this area, as a lot of the discussions on earnings and Mylot milestones are disappearing. I always lose money when these go - not because I start them, but because I usually respond to tell the discussion leader they are violating guidelines. Sorry if I didn't get around to you!
However, I'm sorry to hear you are losing interest. When I first joined Mylot, I joined with the idea of earning, but within days I realised it was the discussions which were the best thing on here - the earnings were just a nice little bonus. Strangely enough, since I shifted my focus, I have actually earned more, and I have certainly had more fun. You lost 3 dollars, so it was hardly an expensive lesson, was it?
You are a good discussion leader, as you think about how you word your topic, and make sure that other members have plenty to comment on - that's why you get so many responses. It would be a shame if Mylot lost your skills, as we need members like you who can post good topics in English which everyone can understand.

I must be getting better - I got the pep talk in before you did! Seriously, there are some members we can afford to lose - Mark isn't one of them, so yes, we need to use our feminine wiles on him, and if that doesn't work, we can always beat him into submission with a stick of wet celery. That works - ask Robert!

I absolutely agree with you that the ones that are getting disapointed are the ones we must hang on to and throw them a life-line - and the list is lengthening!
It's working with Robert (though I wasn't aware of the celery tactic lol) now we must cling on to Mark!
do you think he's reading us?

hello there Sandra1952. very well response yu have to our fellow mylotter. its not the time to give up rather its better to fight for it! and make them see what has become of you after the trials. anyways, we have the same reason when i first get to mylotting. its all about the earning. but now, i am more into having fun and just chatting with friends on common interest and you will not notice that your earnings go straight up!!! thats the best thing about mylot.

Well, hopefully after a little break, you'll be back and you'll have learned from all of this. It's true....so many new people don't read the rules and then get frustrated when their discussions get deleted. Not sure what you did but hopefully you'll be back soon.

I am not sure right now if this has happen to me or not but I will say to learn from your mistakes and well keep on going, I believe that maybe this will set you back but not that much, maybe it will mean that you will not have a payoff this august or that you skip on July, I have been working on having a payoff every month, it has been working these last two months but in between I hit payoff whenever I did, and it was no problem for me.
Good luck to you.

So far I have not..Also, I will not as I have been properly guided to not to violate the terms in any way, by my referrer. That's for I did not make even a single post for about a week after my registration and I just I went through the discussions and term, FAQs etc..As they have clearly mentioned that we are not supposed to discuss the earning calculation procedure of mylot.I will not participate in such discussions . You had started many discussions about the earnings only. Now,as you are familiar with the terms, will not face such problems.Hope so and wish for that.

Welcome to Mylot, and thanks for your comment. I hope other referrers read this and do the same. Understandably, people want to see their account balance go up, but it pays to take a little time to understand how Mylot works.

hmrk12 that's really great that your referrer took the time to teach you about mylot. It just goes to show what a huge difference it can make when you don't just refer people, but help them along the way. This in the long run is better for you to not break the guidelines, better for mylot to have good quality members, and better for both you and your referrer's earnings. Great response here and welcome to mylot.

Yes I did many times when it was my first time here. I even got banned because of it. I posted jokes and games and its not allowed here to do so. I also copy and pasted a lot.
I didn't know I was violating any because I was so lazy to read the TOS. I don't have any hurt feelings, it was my fault and I totally deserve it.

I have violated a some of the regulations. However, I only lost a few cents. Too bad there wasn't a link we could go to see what was gone. Half the time, we don't know what's missing.

Hello there, friend! How sad about that, that was a big loss. Well, I noticed that some of your discussions are about the earnings and they got deleted, right? My earnings are also deducted yesterday but not too big, 9 cents was lost from my earnings. Good thing, it still reached my minimum payout amount. You can try doing tasks for additional earnings and it is stable because once you are rewarded for a task, it will not be pulled out from your earnings. Happy mylotting!

By the way, why lose your interest in here? You can still recover and you must do what you have learned from your mistake. Once you learned what to do and not to do here can help you earn more and you can avoid getting deducted on your earnings. Don't lose hope and just enjoy posting and you will see that you are recovering

Hi Mark,
Don't lose interest in Mylot friend, just consider it a lesson learned. I made the same mistake just a few days before you did and the big mylot spider bit me too!
It's ok though we just gotta pick up, and move on whilst following the guidelines.
Mylot is still a great place, and I'm sure you have lots of good quality information to provide to the site so chin up and keep on mylotting ok? (((hugs)))

I did go through all the FAQs, guidelines and all that stuff before I joined myLot. I also kept going through them as and when I had doubts for the first week or two.But then with myLot, I think one keeps learning something new as time progresses.
In the first 2 weeks, 3 of my discussions were deleted.1 was related to earnings. 1 was a duplicate and 1 was more of a poll kind of a discussion.
So apart from the duplicate and earnings related discussions, please don't post discussions like .. Is A better than B? or Do you prefer A more than B?
High chances are they may get deleted.
In all I must have lost some 10-12 cents. Nothing after that I guess.
But making mistakes is a part of the learning curve and as long as we learn and improve, its all good.

Hello,
I am really sorry to hear about the deduction in your earnings.Had you posted any referral links?Or had someone else posted a referral link in response to your discussion? I cannot understand this issue actually. We have categories such as make extra money and make money. If so why cannot we post topics about earnings there? We are not posting any referral links neither are we posting the topics in other categories which are not related to earnings. I think this is a community where we can all share our little secrets of earning money and also get referrals. Everyone needs referrals. Even at mylot we could earn more from referrals. I just found that a topic started by someone else that I had responded to,has been deleted and my earnings too with that.I just wished people did not post referral links, leading to deletion of posts and responses. That would benefit all.

hmmm, hey mark! i've responded to some of your discussions. does that mean i'll be expecting my earnings to decrease too? hehe it's okay man, i don't blame you. i haven't been long here but i've been very careful not to violate the guidelines. so i avoid responding to those that i think might be deleted. i do hope that i haven't or won't violate any guidelines here. i do want to keep my blue star. i worked hard for it. and i sure hope this discussion won't be deleted too. or else, nah, never mind dude! i enjoy replying to your interesting discussions. keep it up!

not this time but i've only started one discussion:) i had i think 6 discussions deleted on my old account. they were all discussions that i knew were violations and would go but i did anyway because i had something to say. don't worry about it and don't leave just because of one deleted discussions, it happens to everybody at some point.

I guess I am extremely lucky that I did not get my earning deducted here because mostly I did not reply to any such discussion which are about promoting of online earning opportunity. I also have not ever started any such discussion so I never faced any of my started discussion got deleted. Besides that I also take care of posting quality responses which are always relevant to the discussion started. HAPPY MYLOTTING

yes i sure do.
that was the time that i was so new here and i still dont know what to discuss. so i just make as many disucssions that i could come up to and then came a time that my earnings are losing. well i never lost a couple of $ but only on cents. and then i read more discussions from other mylotters and then came to me a discussion about reading the FAQs. and the person who referred me here which is happen to be my best friend help me out so much on mylotting. so by now, though i am still not that perfect here. but i am being cautious as well. hope i could truly and be able to not forget about this guidelines and live it by heart.
thanks friend

Hope you will not get in the same situation like that anymore.

Yeah already did... I also posted something about earnings. I was venting out about not reaching minimum and one of the comments said it is going to be deleted so I just said bye bye discussion.. It feels bad though, because you are definitely sure that you have no intentions of violating any rules. Reading the guidelines several times until you know it by heart also helps. But I just don't feel great at the moment too cause I know sooner or later they will delete that and will decrease my earnings.. But we all gotta move on or ...Whatever!
