If i know what is in your mind now...do you think that can be dangerous?

I wouldn't want someone to be able to read my mind. In situations like healthcare, it might be helpful so that doctors could help treat patients more effectively. I don't think it would be a good thing outside of that though. My thoughts are a private thing and I don't share all of them with people. I wouldn't want someone to be able to read my mind because I would feel exposed to the world. I feel like it would cause a problem in the world and it would make the world worse than it already is.

Great discussion, Icesmile! I don't want to know what others are thinking. Too many people tell us what they think as it is, especially when we really don't want to hear it! If someone else were to read my mind, I'd feel thoroughly over-exposed. They'd be aware of the ramblings of too many divergent thoughts, and a lot of things that don't matter at all!

if it just single reading and just for one people it doesn't matter. but maybe it will be troublesome too. the one who had taht power can read the mind and if a lot of people whom he meet think bad about him. his heart will fulfilled by hatred and avege. yeah it's better to cannot read the mind

I think being able to read other people's minds would be a dangerous thing in many cases. It's probably just as well that we can't.

That will be the worst situation! I know as a human sometimes we wanna know what other people thinking, is this person honest or not, what my boyfriend/girlfriend think of me, what actually our leader hope from us,,etc. but if we can read each other mind, life will become boring because sometimes we need to be polite esp to a new person we just know and sometimes we have bad will too eventhough we don't do it in reality. It will be difficult if we know the truth. better to keep our curiosity, be polite to other person and keep our own secret. but maybe it will be quite interesting if we can decide,, which person's mind we want to read and do it only 1 or 2 times,,lol^^,, but maybe we will addicted and use it several times so better no!

If you could openly read people's minds, you would get your feelings hurt pretty quickly. The stray thoughts and ideas of others would no longer be contained. It would take a very strong and understanding person to be able to handle it.

As such world is becoming little too uneasy place to live in and with this power of reading one anothers mind, we won't last even this much.

If we could read others' minds, then we would never have the need of conversations. You can know what the person will say by reading his mind before he says it. And also, this will mean the end of interviews, speeches, press conferences etc. And we would always have to keep our mind empty if we are with others. In my imagination, this is a really bad situation! Hope this response gets rated positive! Happy Mylotting!

hehe, the capability of read other's minds only exists in the heaven, gods are few and being together peacefully, because they are god, not we common human, if you reach you read other's minds,you have not to stay at the eayth, fly up to the heaven!
