About 3 months old... I think...

We got a germen Shepherd about 2 weeks ago. I am assuming that she is about 3 months old, the people we got her from did not know. Well, we decided to keep her. She was malnutrition and had worms and very dirty. We got her de-wormed and feeding her right. My problem is right now, she is a great dog, she has learned to sit, stay, paw, lay-down, and be "nice" not to bite our fingers off, and now we are working on fetch. My problem is she does not jump. She tries, but can't get off the ground much. She can get up on a couch (yes, i know i do not really want her on the couch, but I want to see if she can jump). We have read that GSD have hip problems, but I notice it only one leg. I know I should take her to the vet, but I have to wait a little bit (pay). I am hoping it is not serious.

If she was suffering from malnutrition, then she might just be too weak to jump around right now. As she gets her strength back, you might notice her perking up, having more energy, and jumping around more. If she wasn't being properly cared for before you got her, though, then she could have a more serious injury that might need medical attention. I hope it's not serious, but you might want to get her checked out by the vet as soon as you get the money.
