Twilight Graphic Novel?

I recently read about a Twilight graphic novel (published by Yen Press) from this site : http://shelf-life.ew.com/2009/07/15/twilight-comic-book-manga/ (and also on Stephenie Meyer's site).
I am excited about it and I've never been into comic books. It looks interesting. I love how they're going more on Stephenie Meyer's personal descriptions of the characters rather than the actors. I think done right it could be amazing.
Any thoughts?

Well, that is news to me! I went to the site to check it out and it sounds interesting. I just finished reading all the Twilight books a month ago and am hungering for more, so I will definitely check it out. My personal feeling though is that nothing will surpass the books! I hope Stephanie Meyer finishes Midnight Sun, it would be so interesting to read from Edward's point of view. We know all about Bella, now I'd like to know more about the Cullens!

I totally agree. Have you read the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun? It's fabulous.

As would I!! She's expressed interest in doing something with Jake & Nessie, Leah and even Bree. But she says there are other characters outside of Twilight that's she wants to write about first.

Oh yes, the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun were awesome! I really hope she does more with the Twilight series, because I would definitely read it.

Awesome, thank you so much for giving the link to that! I absolutely cannot wait for this to be finished! I have read all of the books, and am so hungry for something else. The characters drawn definitely resemble Edward and Bella so much better than in the movie. I too am overly excited about this comic book coming out!

Yeah the Edward is pretty much right on with the Edward in my head. Bella I think is a little too pretty but I can live with that lol.

I think my hubby would enjoy the comic more, where I prefer the novel but I'm already totally addicted to Twilight Saga so I'm interested to see where they go with it. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, it is in the works.
I think it's being done by a Korean artist, but Stephanie Meyer is overlooking all the artwork. There's more about it, as well as other Twilight news on CullenCure- see the Edward link on my profile.
