Hi folks,
I would like to ask what folks feel they should be paid for beta testing a software package and filling out a report.
I think a good test would take a knowedgable person several hours.
That is if they were familiar with what they were doing.
It would probably be a requirement to have some knowedge of software construction.
Ability with Borland Delphi would be advantageous.
Ability in nothing is also an advantage.
Should I break it down into smaller jobs and put them on mylot tasks?

I think you should definitely be compensated in some way. Often times though I think with those beta testing programs they just let you keep the product as your reward. I really think it would be good if you would be satisfied with that. If they didnt let you keep the product I think should defintely be compensated for your time.

Hi snowy22315,
I fully agree.
The software I have made has been around for ages and is already online.
I really do need someone to go over its operations and appearance overall, and look for any bugs, typo errors, erroneous statements, general appearance.
I was thinking dollars per report not cents.
Because it would take a while.
