Do pay per click sites really pay you?

I have just been introduced to a pay per click website. although i registered and continue to visit the page everyday, i am doubtful that it really pays up. Who would pay you to click on ads and read (or look at!) emails?
Have you tried any of these websites? did you ever get paid? HELP!!!!

I only use neobux and mylot, these pay. I don't need any others so those are enough for me.
