What does "Make Extra Money" mean... to YOU?

If you are reading this, chances are you found your way to myLot because you were looking for some way to "make extra money."
I read many many discussions where the original poster's main theme is "I want to make extra money online." Maybe they are only talking about myLot, sometimes they are talking about other "programs."
Now, I want to make it perfectly clear that I am NOT interested in hearing about your "programs" you're involved in. What I DO want to know is what exactly does "make extra money" MEAN to you? What constitutes "worthwhile" to you? $5.00 a month? $50.00 a month? Something more?
At what point does something STOP being "just entertainment" (like Facebook) and START being "making extra money?"
Personally, I don't consider the 12 cents an hour (or whatever!) I can make here anything other than "entertainment." The fact that I might get a payout once in a great while is a "fringe benefit," not my "purpose" in participating.
How about you?

Well, to me anything, even a penny, is 'extra money' granted there does come a time I have to concider 'is it worth it' and it's true most things are not but I guess I think myLot is worth it or wouldn't be here :) I do give credit that although earnings may not be much the major benifit is the socializing, contacts, information, that I gain from myLot and my friends here.

For me making extra money means about $100 a month. It means making enough money for me to have some leisure time (mainly sitting at the coffee shop reading LOL) and having my main income (disability benefit) for bills, and putting a bit into the savings account. I like to use my on-line earnings for my own stuff, so that I don't have to worry about not having money left from my regular income at the end of the month.
