Streaming live video on website with mobile phone

I am just thought of writing a program that will enable people to use their mobile phone to record videos that will be transmitted live on a website just as the broadcasting is going on and after the recording the video will be saved. What do you think of this, is it worth working on. Note, it will be free to use.
