haha then you don't know me at all. music definitely is my addiction. i can't not be listening to music. i have to be listening to music at all times. that is why i struggle a lot at school (i'm not aloud to listen to my ipod) my hard drive is full with music and my itunes is open 24/7. without music, i don't know how i would have survived.
and when i say music, i mean all types. i don't have a specific genre i really like and because i love all types of music, i have so many to listen to and i can't get around easily. also the fact that once i found an interesting song, i listen to that song over and over again obsessively and won't stop until i find a new song. my ipod is always on repeat and my friends make fun of me for that haha :P

Heh I bet your itunes is loaded with songs then. Do you blast your music when you listen to them at home or on your ipod?

well i think music to me is more than a just a hobby but not exactly an addiction... cause i can stay without listen to music but when the source is there then why waiting just let the music run... music is a big part of my life and so is to many others, unlike your neighbors i don't listen to music all the time but yeah i must say most of the time, except when there is some work... but yeah i have to say i can not imagine a world without music!

You know what, when i come to think of it, i realize too that music was at one point part of my life and that momment of my life was where i had very little confidence in myself and music found its way in me and boosted that confidence that i was missing. Thanks for the reminder hehe. ;p

Haha what a shame, i can only imagine what you would be like if one day technology was abolished and there was no more electronic music, you would be lucky if you like instrumental too hehe

For some ppl music is a way of life, way of enjoying life or life addiction. I think music has different meanings to different kind of ppl depending on many factors such as age, location, interests...etc. For example, you might hate some kind of music but begin to love it when you become friends with someone who loves the kind of music you use to hate :D For me I like to change music and style every time depending on my mood. I think listening to music using an iPod for example, gives you the joy of "My Own" the joy of "My Own" is my own music that is played for me :D which makes it "My Own" Listening to music 24/7 means creating your own wold where you listen to what you choose to listen to :)

Yes i see where you are coming from, having your own world of music, feeling the ecstasy hehe. About the bit where you hate a type of music but like it afterwards if you are with friends, i am not like that. If a hate a certain music and if my friends like it, i would probably let them know that i don;t like it and if they insist in listening to it then I just try to ignore it.

Music is certainly an addiction for almost every poerson who can hear! I too always listen to a song if the situation allows me to. And speaking scientificallyl, listening to music is always good and pleasing for your brain.(Ofcourse scientists are still working on its effects on our concentration and other factors deeply). I could have listened to music 24/7 if I had a chance.. but thats not practical and there should be a border line for everything. and about the neighbors.. I try my level best not to create a disturabance by hearing music in a theatre mood (though i luv hearing it like that). All in all, music is an addiction but 24 hour music is not something practical.. Just when you are free.

Music is more of an on the side hobby... I can live without it... although I hate complete silence so I use a fan which also keeps me cool too. 24/7 music neighbors would be kind of boring and if I could hear it when I'm trying to sleep and can't because of it... I'd probably end up with enemies since I'd be putting in a call to whomever should be called to make them turn it off or down low enough to where I'm able to sleep.

You use a fan haha, jokes. I can take silence here and there. Luckily my neighbours don't blast the music all the time which is a good thing but there are times when it does get on the nerves heh.
