So you like to go online using explorer for various web sites. What is that in internet explorer make you tick and continue using it for all your online activities?
For me , i only use it for Microsoft website to download all the necessary security patches and update for my operating system, that's the only use i find explorer is useful. Usually i used safari browser for all my internet surfing because i like it speedy page loading capability. What about you all??

Yes, you got that right, Jenn. Whenever i open my explorer and used it for a while, then my p/c start acting up, freeze up for several minutes, and then alright, then happen again. My guess is as good as your, explorer must have some sorts of virus/ spy ware from Microsoft inside it, trying to steal our information behind our back. lol!! You see, after i used explorer, then i start my spyware /malware scanning, it is always full of unknown code it managed to find inside my computer from explorer.

Hello Friend,
For me I don't use actually an Internet explorer for my browsing activities. I use mozilla firefox that is better than explorer. Even explorer upgrade it in explorer 9 or something is higher. They never dominate mozilla, about it's feature's speed...

My friend , i read a report a tech. company done to test the speed of various browser fre months ago, according to them, safari is faster than Firefox if your web page is make up of only certain script code only, like faster than few micro second something like that. In actual situation, it is hard to differentiate because it is in micro second difference, without a measuring software, it is hard to notice. I am fed up of IE , it has too many spyware and malware in it, mess up my p/c all the time. lol!

Yup! Firefox is better IE whether 9....20. Because there is a problem in the bwoser my friend. If you compare the two browser. Internet explorer open many windows while firefox open only one window and is faster to open than IE....
How about safira is that faster than firefox? didn't try that one, my friend.

I've used many browsers; Firefox, IE, Netscape, Flock, Opera, Chrome, Safari and a couple more that I tried at some point. I only use IE for updates and Firefox is my main browser followed by Chrome. The main reason I like Firefox is because of all the cool addons. I use two different computers and my wife's once in a while. I put an addon called xmarks on the three computers and all my bookmarks and passwords are saved by it. When I switch computers and there's something new I sync and it loads up the new stuff. So that means all three computers have everything I need and I don't have to remember where I was and passwords to put them on another computer. I can also go on any other computer and do the same. It's also good if your hard drive crashes, you at least know your browser info will be ready to put on another one.

It's really intended to keep all your bookmarks and passwords the same on however many computers you use. I had a problem on this laptop I'm using right now and ended up having to reinstall Firefox completely, there was no access to it before the reinstall. When I did reinstall, I downloaded the addon and made the sync and in a few minutes I had all my bookmarks and passwords back. It saved me hours of work because I didn't have to bookmark all my sites and I would have had trouble with some that I don't access much. It's double passworded so you're well protected too. Firefox has many great addons and are very easy to install.

I believe IE has too many security issues inside it, not only the speed is slower. It seem like they are trying to figure out the patches for their security holes for a long time already, but still is not doing much good . IE can take its own sweet time to improve its browser , i have other browsers to use so far.

I use IE, although I prefer Firefox I haven't downloaded yet to my new harddrive... so I've been using IE and as for spyware and adware I now have programs to help me take care of those problems that arise from using IE.
IE and Firefox are the only web browsers I prefer to use and will stick with one or the other.

Hey,
Well I don't really like Internet Explorer, it actually overall feels slower, the actual application. Firefox and other browsers feel light weight. Also, Internet Explorer can't even render most web pages correctly. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

That is true, brienn. I used IE several years ago too when i first started using P/c because IE always come bundle with new p/c , and then many better browsers come along, i have a better choice now, at least don't need to worry much about virus and spyware every time i surf the internet. IE has many security holes, it is not good at all.

I used to be obsessed with IE. I refused to use any other browser no matter what anyone told me, I was so set in my ways. Then one of my friends finally bullied me into trying out Firefox and I haven't used anything else since. The fact that it recovers from crashing is probably what made the switchover easiest for me. IE used to crash all the time and it drove me insane when I had to go dig up all those sites I was visiting and reopen them.

I prefer to use FireFox 3.5.1. I used to use Internet Explorer, but I changed for really no reason but to be different from everyone else in my family.

A long time ago I used something else the IE but I cant remember what it was .. LOL! Anyways when I got my new computer I just left it to IE until a few months ago. I now use Firefox and I really love the tab function and I dont have the problems with it that I had with IE.

That is correct, everyone used Firefox before like its multiple tabs browsing and others functions, it also has less problems compare to IE in my opinion. I remember long time ago, the first or second browser i used is Netscape but now it is no more available for download, probably that is one you forget about the name.
Thank for sharing here. happy mylotting!

I've tried using browsers other than IE and I always have confliction issues so I just gave up! Keeping up with those security patches is the crucial for any browser to work efficiently and safely.

I have no troubles in security issue for all browsers other than IE , it is weird you have conflict issues, is that an error message keep popping out stating that your OS is having a conflict with them, but not with IE?? If that is the case, Microsoft probably had your OS code source altered , lol!!!

I use IE8.0 for my exploer browser. Before I use firefox and maxthon, because the speed is better than IE and they can open many windows in one page, it let me do the things more easy. When IE update to 8.0, IE have the same support, and it producted by MS, it work more better in some areas.
Happy mylot.

I don't really use ie anymore. I will occasionally use it for email, but the majority of the time I use either Firefox or Slimbrowser.
