Do you care about your mylot star?

When i reached 100 posts,my rating started with 7 stars then it increased to 8 and then 9 within 1 week. I was very happy as ratings realy matters a lot for me but one day suddenly it felt to 6 stars, which in my opinion is very less. I am not knowing the reason behind it but that was terrifying. Hope my fellow friends will rate others according to the quality of posts. Happy mylotting

Well yes i do care. When you such a big star besides your name can't help without noticing. Same with me also i had 96 but it went down by 93 but i think it was may be due to inactivity. So as i am back i think my 10 will also be back. I have read in the guidelines that earning is related to star ratings. So for those who are here for money will have to make notice of it.

There are some people that seem to rate people negatively, for some reason that is all their own. I noticed my rating went down a few points lately, but I don't really care that much. Nothing I can do about it

there are mylot bullies out there, that will rate you low just because they don't like what you say, because you don't agree with them. the system is faulty, therefore your star means nothing really. you still get paid no matter what your rank is.

I also care for my star. Just yesterday, my star is color yellow with 85% on it. When I open it today, it remains as yellow star but it is just 80%. I do not know who are those members who rates me negatively. What i am just doing here in the site is to provide helpful information and help on the discussion that they make.I just don't why they give me negative ratings. I hope all of us will help each other here. Let's not apply crab mentally in earning online.

Well at first when i got my 100th post my star rating was 3 but it didn't bother me much because i knew i was new here but after a few days my rating became 8 and i was happy because people like my posts and response and today when i logged in i became a 9 which makse me really appreciative of those people who rated me good even though these past 2 days i've been sick and couldnt reply or post any discussions and was shocked that my rating went up ;} but even though i still don't pay much attention of the star because it expects from you too much like you have to make great quality discussion/response,. i say what i want to say because thats how people know me and why they rated me ;} happy my lotting!

I think, my myLot star cares for me, instead of I myself have any care for it! Sometimes it comes one step down or sometimes it rises one step up! I watch this with much fun and eagerness. Hope, you will be doing the same in future. Thanks and have very good star ratings!!

First iwingagain,sorry for your experience, but what I wanna say is that, it's impossible to satisfy everybody, so don't be too passimistic, if it's not a glitch of mylot, then please don't be annoyed, you've already got Star 8, it proofs that most mylotters treat your posts positively, am I right? So please be happy, see me? I don't even have one star! I hope you could be happy everyday!

to be honest I sort of do now and then i put my mouse over it and see my rating .. =] right now it's 92/100 and I think thats okay but I wonder why it hasn't really moved like that but I guess because I'm not all that good of a mylotter but I try so yeah I think thats all that really matters . =] Well yeah .. I think it's okay.. But I will try to hit a 10 .. again. =]

Yes the same thing happened to me. I was at a 9 (a red star) then I dropped down to an 8 (a gold star. Or a yellow star in your opinion.lol.), but now I am happy, because I am back at a 9 star. I think I dropped down because I made a not so good discussion, or somebody just felt like rating be badly. Anyway I don't care. It's just a star, it hardly means anything.

i dont care about the star rating thing as long as they do not affect my payment, i do wonder why the rating kept going up and down even when you keep posting good quality topics, it seems some people are just bent on running others down and i wonder what benefit is having a 10 maximum rating

I really did not pay much attention about the star, and not sure what benefits can we get from them. It is very sad if someone rate us negatively just because they do not like us. This is not cool at all. Sorry to hear about what just happened to you and your star.

I don't mind if I have a star or not. I care more about the number I posts.

I don't care really about my star. It is really pretty meaningless. I am not sure why anyone would rate you negative. It could be the work of trolls. The rating system does leave a lot of room for abuse for those that find some kind of pleasure in harrassing others.

I do care now that I know it affects my earnings. When I first got my star it was a 3 and it stayed that way for a few days, then it went to a 4. I had that 4 so long, it grew on me, and I thought I was destined to have it for the duration. As time went on, it went up to a 6 then an 8 in a matter of two days and then it went to a 9 where it is right now. I am happy with it, but I do like the color blue better. I give positive ratings, as I feel if someone is goign to take the time to respond to someones discussion, then I should at least take the time to rate them. I don't give negatives unless they use nasty language or they post their referral link in the discussion. You all have got a positive rating from me, as I feel we all need to help each other here and not rate negative just because we don't agree with someone. We all have a right to our opinions, no matter what they might be. Good luck to you and happy myotting.

I will care about the star, if it have concern about earning.If it is not concern earning, i don't care.However if i am you, i will be sad alike you too.
