I hate when I do this!

You people should really look into the chemicals that they put in stuff like "OFF". The best thing to fend off them pesky bugs is your own body odor. As for sunscreen, that stuff is just killing you. They say its good for you, thats how they make money from it. You would not buy it if they told you the truth about it but its out there. Stay in the sun for 15 minutes a day and you will get all the Vitamin D that you need.

Well the way I see it you have several choices. Just take the chance that you will remember to put it on, you will or won't get bit. You could keep a supply in the barn incase you forget to put it on, you won't get bit. You could chant about it and envision yourself remembering to put it on, if it works you won't get bit. You can just forget about it altogether and just take the bite ! What I used to do when I forgot was just use the fly repellent I sprayed on my horse. Lightly or course like a mist from the spray bottle. It always worked for me.. lol Good luck and Brightest blessings, Mari

I totally feel your pain! Mosquito bites really..well..bite! *lol*...I am suffering from quite a few of them myself right now, ones that just won't stop itching *scratch scratch* I went out for lunch with a friend this afternoon and after eating, we decided to get icecream and go to a local park and just sit and talk, unfortunately the bugs were horrendous! As for sunscreen, i hate when i forget this as well. I have very fair skin and burn easily (which doesn't eaven turn to a tan later on, darn it!) So i try to be vigilant about applying it. I generally thwart this by carrying a bottle of suncren, bug repellant in my purse with me all throughout the summer. The suncreen i carry with me is the kind in an aerosol can that is easily applied, and won't accidently open up in my bad and leak everywhere. As for bug repellant, i have really grown to love the kind that comes in wipe form, like wet wipes, or baby wipes. It is so easy to have a couple of these in a plantic baggy tucked away in my purse to swipe over my body if i am going to be outdoors. Luckily, i carry a rathe large purse with me, it is more like a tote bag actually. I know many people don't, especially men, so i don't really have any suggestions for them.
