I recently had some guacamole at a friend's house. I've never like it before, but that was probably because I had never tasted it either. The green goop just didn't seem appetizing.
Anyhow, it was very tasty. I forgot to get the recipe from her, and now I haven't seen her since.
So I am asking for good guacamole recipes. Thanks.

I was just writing on my blog tonight how we went out for a meal at a Mexican restaurant, and in spite of most of the items on the menu being accompanied by guacamole, the meals all arrived without it. On questioning this, they said they hadn't received the right avocados to make guacamole, so they weren't including it. But they hadn't bothered to inform us!

I make it with mashed avocados, crushed onion (just a little),salt, finely diced tomatoes and hot papper paste to taste. I have discovered that it looks nicer after I made my own hot pepper paste. I put fresh hot peppers in boiling olive oil for about 5 minutes. I use that oil for many things and it keeps in the fridge for a long time.
Happy posting!!!

I really like guacamole, it is really tasty either for dipping with tortilla chips or else on top of Mexican food. I used to hate avocados but when I really tried it I found out that I really liked it after all!
Now I order a side of it whenever I go out to eat Mexican food at the restaurant. It is so much better than salsa.

I don't know any specific recipes, but I usually just improvise. Anything with mashed up avacadoes is usually pretty good! One of my best friends (who is from Ecuador) made the BEST BEST BEST kind of guacamole. I think he put onions, tomatoes, and lots of pepper in it. But I'm not totally sure!
