Why do healthy women schedule a c-section instead of having the baby natural? I thought c-sections were for babies that are in distress?

Well from what I understand it is because they are afraid of the pain or complications that might arise. I personally think C-Section should only be used in case of emergencies, but the doctors these days give us the right to choose.
I myself chose to birth my children naturally and thank the lord had no complications.
