Being a senior citizen sometimes limit us to do what we used to do when we are younger. Most people at that stage are retired from work. Some do not have their energy like it was before. Some may have lower mind alertness. And so on.
What do you think is worth doing when you reach 60? Do you have ideas that could still make you useful even at the age of 60?

At Sixty, What Would I do?.. If All My Hard Work in the Earlier Years Are Realised At that Time .. Then I Would Be Count Money .. If Not Continue Working, Isn't That Simple .. Thank You .. I Think Your Question Is Answered ..

Yes you could continue working but would it depend on your health status by that age? I mean some of us may have lowered capabilities by that time. What do you think you could do to make yourself useful to others? Or will just simply find ways to earn for yourself? :-)

Nice discussion :)
If I reach 60, I hope I still have the energy to run my own business from home..or if I already have enough money, then I think it will be great to spend some time with my family, or grandchildren.lol..Travelling, spending time in a ranch, gardening..I think that will be great for those who reach 60..The most important thing is to maintain your health. Cheers, steve!

I will be social person. Will do charity for good cause[if I will have enough funds] and will be active with my artistic nature -Painting, witting, teaching. I have a thought to write book when I will be very old and the only thing I do is sitting in a corner.

Well, I only have 5 years to go ... unless I have a dramatic down turn in either physical or mental health in that time, I expect to be still working, driving etc etc. It would be very nice to have the financial wherewithal to retire and spend my time doing all the things on my 'Bucket List' but that's not likely so I'll just keep trying to fit in as much as I can

Only office goers can think of retirement.A businessman like me have no age bar and so I will be working like this even at that age.The difference can be less traveling than now or more comfortable traveling than now.Either way,I will be in business at any age.Cheers!

well when I am 60 I will defo be retired,
I run my own mlm business and am semi retired now as my income comes in whether I actively work of referrals or not lol,
so when I am 60 I will still have a full time income but I wont be doing any work at all well maybe an hour here and there
which will give me time to do some gardenning and spend time with any grand kids etc etc

I am 60 this year. I realised that I tend to forget things.
For example, if my wife asked me to buy a few items, I tend
to forgpt one or two, and bought additional item that she did
not request. So, nowadays, she tend to give me a shopping list!
I will bring along my handphone, if anything I am not sure, I
will give her a call.
To strenghten my memory, I pick up a new hobby - SUDOKU.
But my wife complaining that I am too engrossed into it.
So, she suggested that I join myLot to improve my memory.
When we do discussion in myLot, we use our brain to think,
this will activate our brain cell. I will try to recall all
the proverbs, terms and verbs when I write my discussion.
This really help to empower my thinking skills! At the moment I am still working...I might retire by end of
this year. I think I will spend most of my time myLotting,
make friends and earn at the same time. I may look for
other part time job if there are any options open to me.
Perhaps I will join some survey company to do recruiting etc.
All the best and enjoy myLotting!
