Who says it's only the girls who are crazy about shopping?

Had I not visited the Electronics Mall in Taiwan, I would still have this notion that only the girls are crazy about shopping and they can roam the entire mall for all eternity until their heels ached and their wallets emptied. But hey, when I went with a selected media group in Taiwan, the guys among the group went ballistic when we visited a huge electronics mall and just like the girls, they roamed the mall and bought anything of their fancy, from digital cameras to cellphones, MP3 players, memory cards, etc. etc. etc. So, girls what can you say? and boys how would you explain this?
