How to make something open in new window with left click?..in html?

So this i'm sure is a very simple question to most people. I could figure out the exact HTML myself but it'll take me about 20-30 minutes(probably less time, but still.) I figured. Why not just ask here on Mylot. What I want it to do basically is to open up a new window if someone left clicked on something. Such as let's say a link was in the page they were on and they clicked it. I would want to make it so that link opened in a new window. Not just that though, but anything that sends you to another page I would want to make it so it opens in a new window with a left click. It's just a simple problem i've been having with a particular site that I know can probably be easily fixed. I basically need the simple 2-3 lines of code in HTML. Thanks to those who help.
