I just referred your word necroposting and when searched for this word in an online dictionary I found that it is called Bump. (To bump a thread on internet forum is by posting a reply to it purely in order to raise the thread's profile. This will typically return it to the top of the list of active threads) Thank you for using this word, I learned a new word. As far as your question of allowing replies to old threads as I read all responses it seems you may reply to old topics.

As stated by the others, there are no rules about posting to old discussions, I do it sometimes, if a topic really interests me and new discussions on it can't be found, and I also do it by accident sometimes.

There is no age limit on posting to discussions. You can post to any regardless of the age of the discussion.

Hi there! You can respond to any discussion that interest you. If you have something good to share about the topic then just share it. Mylot doesn't delete posts even if they are 2-3 years old as long as there's no violation of the rule. But I have never done necroposting.. I usually respond to posts under the new discussions and today's top. Besides, I find it harder to respond for older posts cause mylot follows time of posting and the most recent posts appears on the top of the list so the older posts can be found way, way down the list. And it's only now that i found out that the meaning of it. lol!With your concern, you can respond to any discussion that interest you, whether it is old or new, there will be no problem with that. just continue to be active here and you will have a good earnings!
