Every day mails come in with good promotion statements with easy earning potentials, proof of payment, member recommendation, etc. They are not free of course. The registration fee varies from USD 29, 59, 89, or higher. Do you friends think it worthwhile to join such survey sites?

Absolutely not! I spent approximately six months filling out surveys, and most of them turned out to be limited time offers where you had to give your credit card information. The odds that you'll forget and end up making monthly payments to products is pretty likely.
If you do get surveys, they take a long time for the money you make. And you may only get a few a week. The most annoying part is that they have you fill out pre-surveys for qualification purposes, and those take 5 to 10 minutes. You don't get paid for those, and more than not, you will not qualify for the survey.
I think I made about $40 in six months, I spend about 2-3 hours a night on it. You do the math, minimum wage is like being rich compared to that kind of salary. Additionally, you get checks to be paid, after a certain amount has accumulated. Well I didn't recieve any checks until the following year.
Don't waste your time.

well, it really depends... if the site pays in a reasonable price and really pays its member, then its worth the while... but if not... then its not worth while...

the type of surveys you get depend on a lot of factors. like your location, age, etc. so if you are in one of those 'survey friendly' countries it makes sense to join. although genuine survey sites do not charge any fee. so make sure you do not pay anything to join. the frequency of surveys available is another issue and it may take time to get your payment. if interested try globaltestmarket.com
