HIV Test, have you tested, are you afraid to and what will you do if....

I had HIV test in 2006 and since then am yet to do it again. Am afraid of going for the test, not because of anything, i just don't like to hear and discuss about it. If i test +ve, wow it will be like signing my death warrant. I guess life won't be useful and meaningful again.

I've been tested before. Both times were while I was pregnant with my kids. As I was being tested for just about everything else I figured that I might as well get tested for this as well. 
LOL Both times came back negative.
I have to say that if I were to get tested again and it were to come back positive, either the test got mixed up with someone else's or my husband's got a lot of explaining to do, because he's the only one I've ever been with.
