a THREAT to myLot

I think the 'threat' to any site is not the site itself but the users. It is the users who promote or flame a site and give the reviews about it. This is also true for those that decide to use sites for their own negative purposes and cheat them. If that works for a while they then inform their friends, and as we have seen elsewhere, that can even be the cause of the downfall of a site. MyLot knows how to handle that situation and the users are happy here knowing that for years it is a paying site. Any problems get sorted out and it just gets better. No, the site that could be a threat to myLot is not even a dot on the horizon yet!

hello neil! i think i know the site you're talking about...for me its not a threat. i have tried it but i am not active...i don't know why but i get bored there...maybe its because i am just into mylotting! hehehe maybe i'll try to post there again...but for now, i still want to be more active here coz i already proven mylot to be a credible legit site that actually pays...so for now, my loyalty is in mylot! hehehe

There is something magical about mylot that no other social site can parallel. Mylot has spread its roots far and wide and nothing can trigger or shaken the stability of its foundation. Once you are with mylot, it is as though you have graduated from a prestigious college and no other colleges have the same standard of efficiency. They have strict regulations here which is good to govern a large community without which it could not sustain for long like many similar sites which collapse at a slight problem. For mylot even tsunami would not tear apart this site. Your choice of mylot is the right choice. Stay grounded here and you'll never regret for not leaving this site for there is no better site than mylot. Happy mylotting.

The thing that I wouldn't like to happen would be that members from other sites would be copying some posts off from another site. Its really terrible if that were the case since a discussion that someone has started would be used in another site just to gain more income than to actually have a discussion. I have not been at any other sites that is similar to myLot since, myLot seems to be more easier to use for me.

Hi neil, Mylot has so much to give to its members even though we complain sometimes, but we all have friends here on and off MyLot from here there is something that I don't think any other site could do. Yes I do see it as a threat as some members here are only here for the money so will go to the other site yet also stay here..so it is a 50 50 thing for those people...I am happy here though...LoLo

there are a lot of Money making websites out there, Mylot is not the only one paying, I could join about 10 of them but I don't have the time Mylot is enough for me, I have gootten to know everyone. and I feel comfortable here.

i don't think its a threat to mylot., for me even if they got paid much higher than mylot the question is are they legit ., do they got their payment already?

I think I know where you are talking about...not sure. I am ok with sticking to this. I'm not in here just for the money and I like it here and it is a trusted site. The other may be too but I have friends here and I'm comfortable. If you are concerned about mylot then why are you directing others to this place? Just curious.

I think there are lots of die-hard fans here in the lot, including myself. Therefore, I don't see any threat there. It's fast gaining lots of members too here, as days go by. I have been researching other sites at times during my free time and I must say that they aren't as fun as mylot, honestly speaking. Friends like you are around and others too and I don't think there's any competition in the first place. mylot is cool.. thanks for sharing this discussion..;)

I don't think mylot was ever threatened by another site and never will be. Enough said.

I've heard this site is a scam... Anyways, I don't think that site is a threat to myLot, the design used in it is not very much easy to the eyes, and I think myLot would be the prefferable option between the two. I tried out that site, and didn't like it much... only posted 3 times there and stopped. I really think there is nothing to worry about for myLot. Happy myLotting!

if the site has a better paying system than mylot for the same effort then i dnt think its a threat to the users..it might be a threat to mylot but the users can be more benefitted from that site..i would be ready to sign up on that site if it is better than mylot,

i am new to mylot and i really don't know what site are you all talking about. but the manner in which the whole discussion is shrouded in secrecy does make me anxious. is it a site "whose name should not be taken" why not name the site and let the members decide for themselves. it may or may not be a threat but the manner in which you are keeping the name 'secret' does make it seem like a threat.

As others have said already. myLot is not the only site of its type. However, in my view it stands out from the crowd for two reasons - firstly it is extremely easy to use with an attractive user interface and secondly, it pays regularly and without fail. It's not perfect, but then who is? LOL.

Competition will bring something good for all of us.Either that site will be scam or mylot will improve a lot.So form both side we will be in profit.SO dont worry about it.

i don't really know which site you are talking about and i don't think it is a threat. It is like orkut and facebook - people who prefer using orkut don't really move to facebook and those who use facebook use both these social networking sites! So, i don't think it is a threat to mylot but of course a competitor :)

Though i am even new here at mylot, still i don't feel that any similarsite amy be a threat to mylot. Their each post pay is upto 7 cents, and that's too much.. If it goes on giving so so much it would definately become a scam soon... And mylot is already quite active and reliable community for years...

Hmmmmm..kinda remember the discussion that some one posted last year that there's a hacker that created a phoney mylot site just to infiltrate the users of mylot. and there was another site like mylot too at that time. that site closed down. i don't trust that site, i won't even know what is it.

The site you are mentioning can never be a threat mylot. First of all we will not be paid 7 cents per post there and for most of the posts we will be paid 1 cent to 1.5 cent only there. Also except a single member, no one has been paid so far and you need to have a verified paypal account to get your payment there. No more quality is needed for the posts and we can not expect anything informative there except the spam posts..They concentrate only on quantity and not on quality.Pop up windows are the real threats to the users in that site which are containing virus.Wait for about a month and see the feedback of the members as most of them members are not about to reach the payout.
