would you kill to survive.?

say you are trapped in an island with your friends and your far from help. But u have to keep yourself alive until help arrives. and only source of food is the other person. So would you do it. Just to survive. well i think its really practical but what does religions say about it. for me survival comes first and keeping oneself alive is our first responsibility. well this is what Hinduism says too. But your not killing due to jealousy, anger, hatred but just to survive. Your just getting food to survive. so what would you do. are you bound by your religion?, rather die then kill other. what is your thought to this.
