Do you feel alone when it is raining.

I live in a place that has a lot of rain in the spring and fall. In the summer it's quite nice and hot and in the winter, we get snow. I enjoy rain as a change but when it's raining all the time, it tends to make people depressed. I do understand feeling alone when it's raining though. I find a certain peace and tranquility when I hear the rain on the roof or see it hit the sidewalk. I like that it washes away whatever was there. It kind of feels like that for the soul for me too.

it's weird...but i feel the opposite... When it rains, i kinda feel so relieved and secured. The sound of the rain is so comforting. I actually like it better when it rains... (minus the hassle that goes with it).......

There are times wherein rain just makes things moves slow. Though you can really literally say that it makes traffic move slower in our country, what I mean is that due to the clouds being dark and light isn't visible from the sky, it feels like its close to evening when its actually just the middle of the afternoon. Whenever its raining, I tend to think about things that I don't get to think often on a regular day. The cool breeze woudl often suggest worry but, it also reminds me of certain days when it was also rainy but, had a good time. Perhaps with acquaintances which would later on make me wonder how they are or what they are doing these days. Rain also makes me recognize the bed. Rain makes it more cozy as we try to cover ourselves with a thick blanket and snugly rest ourselves until we end up sleeping. Rain often does raise my cravings for hot meals like soup or something spicy like noodles. Depending on the situation I guess..

No I dont feel alone when its raining. Even though I do feel bored when its raining but I dont feel lonely but I also feel tired for some reason. When ever its raining I always feel very tired which is a crappy feeling because I dont feel like doing anything lol.

Yes, and I love that feeling! I feel like I am in a place where no one can bother me and I'm free to think about all the stuff that gets pushed away when life is otherwise too busy to sit down and think at all. It's peaceful and quiet.. there is nothing as close to heaven as that feeling...

I like the rain, matter in fact, if it is not raining too hard and it is not muggy out I like to open the windows a bit to bring in the air to refresh the house. I don't feel alone, but agree with another post that I can get sleepy. I can sleep better when it rains or thunders. But I have caught myself going outside and sitting on the porch, as long as the rain direction is not going to come after me.

I don't know that it makes me feel alone, but it does make me think. That is when I am not at work. When I lived in Illinois, I used to love to watch the rain, or first snowfall of the year. There is just something so very calming and relaxing bout these two things.

same way i also feel. sometimes feel i have lost every thing behind lost many relations. i feel very alone, painful, something pining. sometimes i stand by the window and watch outside people enjoying life in there own way. and find my self as if i have left alone in the road side. any way i find a solution. when it rains i usually wear my rainy coat on and take a ride with my bike and enjoy the beauty outside. even in alone. i am liking this rain now.

Maybe it does make me feel alone when it rains. However it doesn't make me feel lonely. Like you I find it very calming and relaxing. If I lived in a place where it was almost always sunny I think I would be bored. I love having seasons that are totally different especially in autumn when we get a lot of rain. AS well as being good for the ground maybe rain is good for our minds as well.
