What, in your opinion, are the ugliest animals that you've ever seen?

I don't like cockroaches, snakes, worms and slugs. I have difficulty understanding that they are God's creatures, like myself, and have to make a conscious effort of will to make myself feel a brother to them. I don't have the same problem with other mammals or, especially, primates. I can find a fellow feeling for dogs and horses and a 'mutual respect' for cats. I find the apes, especially, so close to humanity that I have to love them though I feel that just that feeling of 'nearly human' can lead to misunderstanding. They are not human, just as we are no longer apes, yet we share so much in form and body language that it seems dangerous because, often, we feel that our likenesses conceal our differences. I see and feel myself as an animal with differences and, perhaps, an understanding that seems to make me both advantaged and disabled in comparison with them. I am humbled that (as I believe) God created us all to be what we are. It is up to us to treat each other as brothers and sisters.

Cockroaches. And houseflies. They're not just household pests. They're ugly household pests. I hate them both.

Those weird looking cats with no fur called "Sphynx" cats, they look like they would feel weird to touch and just plain don't look right. They look like a normal cat that has had some kind of skin disease that has made all it's fur fall out. I feel kind of guilty not liking them so much as they are cats and I love cats, I just don't understand why anyone would want to breed a cat that looked like that. I suppose the one upside to it is they can't get fleas or any disease that makes their fur fall out, or if they did no one would notice.

I hate big mouse which I can see road side in darkness. But apart from that I have seen anglerfish on animal planet channel which is not only ugly but scary too.

all kinds of RATS!I hate them and every time I saw one of them I am really horrified. But I am afraid to kill them because of fear that my things will be damaged, they might take revenge.lol!well that's what they say, so I try not to kill them. But for me, RATS are the ugliest and most unwanted animals on earth, I don't know why they are created where in fact they have no use at all. They only make every life on earth miserable. In fact, rats are the dirtiest animals on planet, they can kill people with their poisonous waste.

Animals...hmm a mole is pretty creepy looking, they have very beedy little eyes and funny little noses. I don't think there are many ugly animals. Strange and different sure. I don't see how primates could be so ugly to you, since if you believe in evolution, we came from a type of primate ourselves and share distinct features. Maybe you have some inner subconcious self-loathing or maybe you dislike all humans secretly? Hmm, fun question though thanks for asking! I know there are tons of very strange looking creatures out there, especially in the bug family, and the fish that live down in the twilight zone are definitely...well different, but they are so unique and I love to watch programs where they show them! Definitely an experience!

Hi cool...I would have to say the ugliest animal that I have ever seen would be an octopus. They look to me like a big ball of blubber with suction cups...LOL I don't think you would have to worry about feeling lonely if you happened to run into one while you were swimming because there would be plenty of arms for hugs...YUCK... flutterby

There are many but I think the worst for me are spiders and all types of spiders. Snakes and lizerds and anykind of reptile they just look scary with their little eyes just staring at you. I guess that I am scared of most of the animals that do not have fur or feathers and most of them are ugly.

I think the ugliest animals are rats,frogs, and cockroach... ewww...

I think the most ugliest animal ive ever seen is a snake. It really freaks me out & it cause me goosebumps! Yikes!

Ugliest when i hear this term Hynah,Vulture,sloth bear comes to my mind.I just hate them.Hynah for its undisciplined behaviour,physic,vulture for its appearence,sloth bear for its mannerism.Hynah's howl when i hear in TV make me so restless,an ugly tone.

Ugliness is subjective but personally I find snakes to be revolting. The way they move slithering around with no legs frightens me a bit. I have however faced my fear and touched a snake in a wildlife park in Australia.
