Do you believe the concept of determinism? Which implies that everything happened for a purpose in the future? For instance, you were late for your work today, so you avoid the fire accident at your work facility. Or do you just believe that it was a random incident for that day? It is really controversial somehow. Religious people will explain that as an act of God, to protect you, or to guide you to a safe ground. What about you?

I believe that everything that happens does happen for a purpose... even if all of it isn't nice. However I still believe we have some control over things... as in there is always a fork in the road and you chose the path and from there it keeps branching out... depending on which one you choose different things will happen in your own life.

For me i go for both,
I go for purpose in the future,
we people should be careful in order to survive and be safe and everything happen for a reason and that reason was made by you alone.
I go for religious, the reason is,
because i believe we need god the above power to guide and protect us....
sometimes there are incident we can tell we are saved by the almighty god but sometimes we can tell we have saved our own life.
I have experience a lot of miracle in life and i i do careful not to get into trouble that's why i go for both.

I believe that there is a basic pattern predetermined for our lives. Call it fate if you will, but we are destined to hit certain milestones and have certain experiences. I think there is an unknown variable and we may impact the events in between major events.
