This is very sad, I'm an American and through the last couple of years I've happen to notice that people have not been standing up or anything when the pledge comes on. I happen to a true patriot and hate the fact that are youth do not have enough respect to pledge. I do believe that it's your right if you don't want to but still have enough respect for the rest of us.

I don't say the pledge of allegiance, but I have my own reasons. I do stand for it, though, because I think it's disrespectful to refuse to stand. You don't have to say it if you don't want to (I know that most people in our high school didn't, some had personal reasons like myself and others just didn't want to), but we all stood for it.
Even if you're not going to say it, it's just disrespectful to not at least stand for the pledge and everyone should at least show a little respect for the people around them.

Thats what I was trying to get across I say it but not aloud but what I hate is when Mexicans and i don't mean this racially but like when they don't stand or they laugh about it or whatever and say they hate this country but then if we told them to leave they wouldn't want to

Yes this country is going down the tubes! This is just another example of the many indicators. The new generation, the haters in politics, the jobs going away, racial hatred, and on and on and on! I moved to Mexico even with the Narco gangs I feel better off here! Sad but true! tdemex
