Old wives tales about pregantcy

The funniest one that I've ever heard involves the act of getting pregnant. My husband's boss said it. If the male does all of the work, then you are going to have a boy. If the female does all the work, then you are going to have a girl. Oh, spicy food can make you go into labor (not true at all, I tried it). Castor oild can make you go into labor (not true either, my mother tried it with me, I was 22 days late).

There are a tun out there. -If you get heartburn alot the baby will have a full head of hair. -If you hold a chain over your belly with your wedding band on it and it swings back and forth its a girl. if it spins in circles its a boy. -Some say not to take a bath while pregnant because it will wash germs up into your uterus. Doctors have found it to be completely false. -Your not supposed to eat spicey foods because it can cause premature labor. Im proof this one is wrong. With my second son all I could keep down was jalapeno poppers and i was late with him. They actually had to induce labor. -If you look at your left eye and you see v shaped vains on the white part your having a girl -pick up a key. if you grabbed it by the top part its a boy, by the teeth its a girl -If you have had previous children you can tell by their first word. If they say mama first youll have a girl. if they day dada first its a boy. -if you take the mothers age at conception and the year of concepts and both are either an odd number or both are an even number its a girl. if you have an odd number and an even number its a boy. -this one is for before you try to conceive. If you eat a lot of salty foods before conception it will be a boy. if you eat sweets a girl. -While trying to conceive if you put a wooden spoon and pair of scissors under your bed and a pink bow under your pillow you'll conceive a girl. -If you are carring a girl you will be more crabby. if your carring a boy youll be happy and smiling. Not true because i was cranky with my boys and happy with my girl lol -Castor oil can induce labor. Not true. all it dose is give you the runs with really bad cramps!! In our country, it is not allowed to foretell whether the baby is a boy or a girl. However there are ways to figure out according to chinese medication. We have a saying left for male, and right for female, the same with baby guess. If the pulses on your left hand wrist is stronger, most probably you will have a boy. Another way is to watch the pregnant lady from the back. Ask her to walk a few steps, and if there is little change in figure and gesture, a boy is expected. If changed a lot, a sign for a girl. Just for reference.
