Imagine that you have just won a sweepstakes and and they have allowed you to pick a place anywhere in the world to visit for a week. If given the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I would choose anywhere in Europe just because it is all culturally diverse and you could easily visit more than one country in a week. I've never been to Europe too,and from what I've seen it looks cool.

Agree! I also wanted to visit Europe. You can jump into a train and be in another country in a couple of hours. Its really cool to be there and knowing its free. You can dine on expensive restaurant and rant about how crappy some of the food taste like or how yummy it is..experience and see their culture...and oh, its one of my dream destination actually!

hello,
The one place I would be sooo happy to visit is egypt. I think there is so much history living in Egypt and would just love to get away from my hectic busy life and admire Gods creations.

Anywhere in the Caribbean Islands would be great to me. I've been to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St Marteen and St. Johns. All were beautiful and very different from each other. I'd skip hurricane season though, just in case. The water is beautiful and I love tropical locations. My other choice would be Italy. I've never been there and after reading about it I'd love to visit one day!

Probably France or Italy. My family did a week-long vacation of Venice, Florence and Rome which was great. I enjoyed Florence the most and would go back again - a laid-back feel to it, and the fod was amazing. The most different thing I remember is the infrastructure. Streets were made for walking more so than driving, which means more interaction and easy-going lifestyle. A second choice would be Paris, it was great there - the street vendors made for good shopping, and the desserts were phenomenal.

I would want to go to Hawaii. for some reason Europe just doesn't do anything for me. I love the ocean and outdoors and beautiful scenery and Hawaii has all that. I hope to actually make it there one day. I'm a little afraid to fly though. Especially since there seems to be some many airplane problems happening lately.

I would love to see the maldives. It is somewhere money won't allow in our world! We just don't earn enough!
I'm in the UK so I've done a lot of europe - Venice is by far my favourite place in the world but we can grab cheap last minute deals there whenever we want x

I would like to visit Japan. I think Japan is really cool, not only the people, but also the cultures. I want to watch mount Fuji. They said it is very beautiful. There are so many interesting facts about Japan that I want to know. I hope someday I can really visit Japan.

Hi Sweeten, what a sweet topic!!!
Obviously, everyone will have their own choice. But you will have to admit that my choice is the BEST!
If I could travel anywhere for FREE, then my first and foremost choice and the only choice would be THE MOON!!!!!!!!
Yes, why not???
You can obviously count on fingertips the number of people who have gone to the MOON. And I would be very delighted to be in that list.
From the MOON you could watch the Sunrise and Sunset, watch our Dear Earth going through its phases and of course I could pay my respects to our Dear Earth by circling it!!!
What do you say this, Sweeten??

Hmmm, Let say I win :D WOW I'd be so happy and I'll go around the world :D LOL First I'll choose one place and go from it. Like if I take Italy, I'll go from it Turkey, Greece, Romania, Hugary, Austria, Italy, Swizerland, Germany and end it in France. :D I might just use the train or bus depending on the weather or the distance :D and I'll spend 2 months or 2 months and a half :D What do you think?
Thanks and happy MyLotting

I would love to travel to the South of France and to the neighbouring principalities e.g Monnaco. I'd also love to travel to bella italia and visit Florence, Roma and Portofino. So perhaps I would choose a one week cruise around this area of Europe.
Other countries I'd love to travel to are Switzerland, Holland, Scotland, Ireland, England, Greece, Germany and Austria. I'd also love to cruise around the carribean and relax on the sandy white beaches in the bahamas.

almost forgot I've heard people raving about the natural beauty of the tahitian islands in the south pacific. I'd love to spend a week in Bora Bora. I've looked at the websites of some of the resorts located there and it costs thousands of dollars per night for some of the luxury accomodation. Immagine this, the hotel staff pick you up from the airport on a yaught.

Europe is a fantastic choice I agree. I personally would choose Australia as I have always wanted to visit there. It seems like such a happy and chilled out country, with gorgeous weather, beautiful beaches and nice friendly people. I don't think that one week would be long enough though!

I would love to visit Borneo or Madagascar. Some place full of unusual and spectacular wildlife. I am fascinated with reptiles and amphibians and I would love to catch a glimpse of some in their natural habitats.
