Imagine you have started a good discussion and there are 100 comments. Will you reply one by one? Or you just reply to some comments which you think it's good? A few days ago, i felt quite tired of replying to 10 comments or above. If responders are coming back to discuss with you the whole day, what will you do? :)

Hi winterliang,
It is our courtesy to give a comment on every responses that we received. If others can sacrifice their time and brain to give a response to our discussion then we should do the same to them. If you didn't anything to comment on their response, just give them a thank you comment. I wouldn't give you a dime to do that but at least the responder know that you read their response and appreciated it.
Since this is a discussion, you should expecting some comment back from your comment. If you could comment on that and do it. It is advisable to do so. The longer the tread the more opportunities for you to earn here. And you also can make a good discussion friends for your future discussion.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

It is hard to do it for the first time like anything else. But sooner you would love it especially if you find someone who can share the same ideas or totally different ideas of you. Good luck.

Hi winterliang, I will start new discussion only when I find I have considerable time to take care of it. I will take care of it by adding comments to all the responses received. I would leave my comments on them according to sequence. I try not to leap over any of them no matter how many responses I have received
I enjoy having continual comments as well. It’s really fun if we keep on chatting if we still have more views and feeling to share with one another. It looks more like a forum. I’m not a full time mylot member. I could log in here during my spare time only. Anyway I try to type as much comments as I could when I have spare time.
I would log in here and continue our discussing with the same person again once I’m free. We are used to and enjoy doing this in this way
Happy posting and have a nice day!

You are right winterliang, I really enjoy typing posts here often. I understand that a student should put his study as the more important thing. So it’s nice for you to start new discussion or to add comments here relaxingly when you have free time.
Have a nice day

First, I admit I read every single response to every discussion I post, and rate them. However, I do not respond to all of them. And Mylot doesn't want us to. They tell us that. They don't want it to get so monotonous that to each responder we say mundane things like 'thanks for the response.' Rather than do that, they just want us to repond to the ones we feel we can add to. I read the posts, I always rate the post, and then I respond to some of them, but never all. And if you do get tired of the conversation through that one responder, it's okay if you don't respond after answering them already once or twice. It's okay.

It has become a habit for me to comment to all my responses regardless of the pages of responses I get. It is only fair to give our comments since they took their time to come to our discussions. There was once I had 3 of my discussions listed in the digest in one particular day and you can imagine I had more than 30 pages of responses to attend to and I took almost a week to complete giving out my comments. It can be quite challenging when your responses hit the roof. It really works the mind out.

Yes, I will still add comments to anybody who responses to my discussions. I think it is a kind of appreciation to the responders. It is much more like a communication and it will help you to make some good friends.
I love China

At first, I think it's not necessary to comment every response I got because it's too many. I thin better I go to other discussion and make response there than waiting at my discussion and make comment if there's responses on it. You know some discussion have 0 response even after 1 or 2 day. I'll read every response eventhough I didn't comment on it. I know you earn money by commented on responses but..it takes time. Other's takes time too by responding and they get paid fair with or without comment back..so it's fair. Personally if I make response to othere's discussion I won't come back to see the starter make comment or not on my response..
But after I start the similar discussion like you several days ago, I know it's courtesy to make comment on responses you get. I try to do it now,,but I personally still think not all the responders will come back and honestly I prefer only comment back to some response to show my courtesy,,

looks like most of you will choose to reply majority of the responses that you all receive. In fact, i agree with you that not necessary to reply to all the responses.
