men what can you do about them??? some just are stuck in the old ways, i'd be happy if i got some help round the place especially when hes home more now. but no it's too much to ask and he say's cause i go round to my mums each day to work my horses i can do everything my self so he's the first one to complain about things.
i really appreciate my work mate starting my car on a cold morning, not that i actually tell him, but it puts more of the smile on my face.
just the fact of doing something with being asked, showing that they care so you can have more time to spend with them.

Its a toss up between doing a chore with out asking or surprising me with a planned romantic date. When a man can do a chore without asking that shows me he cares. When he plans a romantic date that shows me he loves me and wants to spend time with me because he loves me.

For me it would be a variety of all of those things. He is very good at knowing what I like, and when I like it. If we only showed our appreciation to eachother in one way, all the time, we would not understand that the other really appreciated us. it could just become something that we would do out of habit. Variety is better to keep things fresh.
