What kind of special signs might that be for example? Although my nails look the same as always it would be nice to know a bit more about the special signs that could alert me to any potential problem later down the line or to spot it in those I know... I've never heard of this before either, could you say where you came across the information?

Thanks for responding. Somebody have on their nails white dots, which indicate nerve system problem, while yellow dots, maybe digestion system problem. If the moon shape on your nail is big, the blood circulation is good. And vice versa. The vertical lines on nails show over stress of brain or body, while the lateral lines indicate illness coming on the way.
Healthy nails are pink. If brown, maybe you have a bowel infection, or lack of vitamins, or iron. If too pale, anaemia is possible. And yellow might show pending liver problem.... The shapes of nails are too complicated for me. So much for your reference.

Yes i heard of this. Actually i learned this thing when i was in college. I think it has something to do with our blood circulation. If your nails turned blue, that means your blood is not getting enough oxygen to distribute to your body. It is actually termed as hypoxemia. hypo- meaning less, ox for oxygen and -emia for blood.

Yes, it's true.

I normally do not pay mutch attention to my hands or nails. But after your coment I will take a close look when ever I might remeber so I might be able to know if there is something wrong with me. Well I do have to go to the Dr. so I might be able to know what it is but atleast with the information you gave I can have an idea about calling my Dr. Thank you for your discussion it was really good to know things like this.

I did not know what can the signs of hand and nails tell about the organ & system, however I know if there is white spot appearing on your nails, you are tend to lack of calcium and you either have to start taking the pills or having the natural way of drinking milk.
