Hi there Cass Rufus! I believe that true love is unconditional. It doesn't expect for anything in return. Fake love, on the other hand, is pretending to have affection for the person just so you can benefit from the relationship. Sometimes, it is deliberate but sometimes, it is not.

True love is a beautiful thing to be involved in. Recognize that there are levels of love. Unconditional love is reserved for very special relationships, those that are built on history and position in the person's life. Ponder whether or not you are up for the emotional or financial investment. The initial and most important relationship that you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. Be honest and upfront with yourself about who you are and what your needs are. Know what you can give to your self and what you need from someone else.Stick to realistic expectations regarding your self and the other person. It is a reciprocal encounter. What does the other person need from you? Romance is more of a biological and psycholigal response. True love has as its foundation commitment and willing energy. Know that love is a noun. It is also a verb. Choose the one that is most suited for you at this time.
