Best place for Free Poker

I know there are hundreds of Poker sites out there however as a poor player I am not willing to put my money on the table. So I was wondering if people know of sites with good free roll competition, playing for free but being rewarded for doing very well with cash etc.
Maybe I'm doing some wishful thinking here but hey the sun's shining and I thought I would:)

my favorite poker site is doyles room. but where i'm from there is a poker league in various bars around town. it is free to play and there are prizes for first and second place. you also get points depending on how well you do in the tournament and then those points qualify you for district and state tournaments. i actually qualified and placed fourth in last years state tournament and i won $725 dollars... for FREE poker and i had a lot of fun. maybe there is something like that available where you are from.

Well done on winning and yes I think there is local stuff but I'd prefer playing Online rather than face to face:)
There used to be a good website that did freerolls over the course of like 3 months so you had to build points and then hopefully get cash prizes but they stopped it now:(
