I dabbled for a VERY short time in Forex, and I would be very wary of doing it again, unless I have large amount of money to lose. $1 investments cannot work, because there is a make or break threshhold which would kick out your bid in seconds should the currency be fluctuating. Not sure if any of this makes sense, but dont go for $1 sites and dont get involved in Forex if you havent got a budget to lose.

You are right Ritz100...never play with $1-2. I am glad to mention here that I have learned a lot in past 6-7 months and doing well in forex trade. It takes lot of patience and know-hows before you start the actual trade. I am having a steady income ranging from 8-15$ daily and now able to say with confidence that i know how to do it. Its not gamblilng either as most of the people think..nor it is the trade of luck, its pure business, once you learn you will know it. You will find the best platform in my profile, and to be successful you have to be with trusted people...

Some of the Forex sites are legitimate but Forex trade is illegal in India. Do not even try.

I dabbled in forex a year ago or so. At the time some of the sites were giving you a free $10 to sign up and to muck around with. I found it really confusing and soon gave up, but if you are willing to put in the time and effort I suppose you could make a lot of money, although I think a lot of it is down to pure luck.
